JONESTOWN, Pa. (May 11, 2020) – Brock Zearfoss’ return to the Midwest proved successful, not only earning his way into the World of Outlaws’ ‘Return to Racing’ program at Knoxville Raceway on Friday, May 8, but the ‘Jonestown Jet’ concluded his appearance with a two-position advance to finish 11th during the 30-lap main event.

Zearfoss, winner of Park Jefferson’s Open Wheel Nationals on April 25, kicked-off his evening at the Sprint Car Capital of the World by recording the ninth-fastest time during his respective group of qualifying time trials, soon followed by a fourth-place finish during his respective heat race. There were 48 cars entered for action.

“It was a pretty solid night for our team. I think we were capable of more, but we’ll take this and move on,” Brock Zearfoss said, driver of the Brock Zearfoss Racing/Moose’s LZ Bar & Grill/Heavy Equipment, Loaders & Parts Inc./C&D Rigging Inc./BAPS Auto Paints & Supply/Meckley’s Limestone Products/Berkebile Oil Company/Klick Lewis Cars/J.P. Adamsky Trucking/No. 3Z sprint car. “I can’t say enough about this team and all of our partners. The work ethic Tye and Shane put out is irreplaceable and our partners are more than supportive of our efforts. I can’t think of a better situation for everyone involved.”

With ongoing restrictions as the result of COVID-19 keeping the All Star Circuit of Champions from getting on track, Brock Zearfoss will take advantage of the misfortune and stay out on the road. The Jonestown, Pennsylvania-based race team will visit West Texas Raceway for the West Texas Crude Nationals on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 12-13, followed by a near-1000-mile trip to Jackson Motorplex in Jackson, Minnesota, for the Great Lakes Shootout on Friday and Saturday, May 15-16. The West Texas Crude Nationals will award $4,000 and $6,000, respectively, and Jackson’s Great Lakes Shootout will award $5,000 and $7,000, respectively.

Although each event will be contested with no fans present, a live stream will be provided via www.speedshifttv.com.

Brock Zearfoss will continue his full-time All Star commitments once the Series resumes action.
