GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. (June 12, 2023) – It was a near-perfect weekend for Brian Brown and Brian Brown Racing, not only accumulating a victory with the Greatest Show On Dirt at the Sprint Car Capital of the World, but ultimately capping the June 9-10 pair with back-to-back podiums, finishing no worse than second while earning a set of heat race victories along the way. The five-second win, Brown’s third of the season overall and a 63rd at the world-famous Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, was accomplished from row two, taking command on lap two before scooting away for a $10,000 payday.

As noted, Brown raced on to finish second the following evening, maintaining his top-five position after starting on the outside of the front row. Jason Johnson Racing’s Carson Macedo, who got around Brown early on in the program, held down the runner-up slot until a late-race incident took the Californian out of contention.

“Overall, a great weekend for our team, and a perfect way to get things going with a win on Friday,” Brown, driver of the Brian Brown Racing, Casey’s, FVP, Andy’s Frozen Custard, Impact Signs Awnings and Wraps, Mt. Dew Overdrive, HAWK Hunting, Ditzfeld Transfer, No. 21 sprint car, said. “We were able to get the lead and kinda set sail. The car was great anywhere I put it…top, bottom, middle…it didn’t matter. The win was great for the local fans, as well.

“Saturday, the track was fast and David [Gravel] hit his marks,” Brown added. “He was going to be tough to beat with the track like it was.”

The World of Outlaws victory was Brown’s first of the season, simultaneously bumping his Series top-five tally to five on the year, all of which accumulated in 14 starts.
