GETTYSBURG, Pa. (May 24, 2022) – Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing have been on a tear in Central Pennsylvania, and although the team was not victorious during their recent two-stop stretch at Williams Grove Speedway and Lincoln Speedway on May 20-21, they did turn some heads.

Dietrich, driver of Gary Kauffman’s Weikert’s Livestock, Sandoe’s Fruit Market, Pace Performance, Big Cove Whitetail Trophy Hunts, Drop Of Ink Tattoo, Sweeney Chevrolet Buick GMC, Self Made Racing, Racer’s New & Used Parts Warehouse, No. 48 sprint car, earned back-to-back top-five outcomes during his Central Pennsylvania sweep, kicking off the weekend with a five-spot bump from eighth to third at The Grove, followed by an impressive rally from 20th to finish fifth at Lincoln Speedway.

Certainly no stranger to success in the Pigeon Hills, “Double-D” is a four-time winner at Lincoln Speedway already this year, two of which occurring from the outside of row five.

“It’s motivating to have the ability to pass cars and make progress after starting deep, but I think we’d rather have the opportunity to start closer to the front and battle for wins…that’s the ultimate goal,” Dietrich explained, who owns 19 top-ten finishes thus far in 2022. “Hats off to my team for all of their hard work, and hats off to the fans for their support during these hard times. For them to come to the track and spend their hard earned money on a ticket to watch us race is pretty special. We wouldn’t be here without them.”

Danny Dietrich and Gary Kauffman Racing did make a start at Path Valley Speedway on Sunday, May 22, but Mother Nature ended all action.
