TUESDAY, JANUARY 28TH

A week ago, the DOB 360 Series visited Williams Grove Speedway, with the Swindell SpeedLab eSports team continuing its dominance over the field.

James Edens pocketed the win, holding off Kendal Tucker to score his second win of the season. The victory made it 10-straight in 360 competition for the Swindell SpeedLab group in DOB competition.

Tucker, who set quick time on the night with a lap of 17.920, finished second. He also captured his heat race. Adam Elby was third and continues to lead the point standings. Mason Hannigan, and Jeremy Zarfos completed the top five.

Edens and Michael Sheridan were heat winners for the 24-car field. Elby leads the points with 692 markers, with Mike Keegan 52 points back in second.

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 29TH

Cameron Merriman decimated the field to capture the 40-lap 305 Sprint A Series event at Fairbury American Legion Speedway.

Merriman built a half-track lead over the field through the first 17 circuits, lapping up to 13th in the 22-car field. There were five restarts in the second half of the event, but that didn’t stop Merriman from pulling away from the field for his fourth win in a row.

Ryan Scheidt, who leads the point standings by 17 over Merriman, Dustin Sargent, Richie Preston, and Chris Roberts completed the top five. Kyle Jenkins, Merriman, and Preston were heat winners.

In 305 B Series racing action at Fairbury, Chris Roberts won a side-by-side battle over Tyler Henselman to take the checker.

Roberts disposed of Jesse Bandy for the top spot early in the 40-lap affair before having to do battle with Henselman, who started 11th on the grid.

Henselman came to the front and started to challenge for the lead with five laps to go. The two drivers ran wheel-to-wheel into the last corner, but Roberts was able to pinch his pursuer off Turn 4 and pick up his second win in a row.

Randy Rockwell was third in the main event, with fast-timer Trevor Trego placing fourth. Carl McKinney completed the top five.

Bandy and Roberts were heat winners for the 13-car field. Roberts leads Bandy by a mere five points in the standings.

Wingless 410 Sprint Car action completed Wednesday’s DOB racing. Chance Ciskowski capped the night by catching Mike Keegan and executing a pass for the win to pad his significant point lead in the series.

Mike Keegan jumped out front early, but Ciskowski remained within striking distance. Ciskowski gave chase and, finally, made the winning pass on the 21st circuit. Keegan and Mason Hannagan tried to keep up, but the leader sped away to his third win of the season.

Hannagan got by Keegan for second. Stephen Hill and Chris Sabescay completed the top five in the 15-car field. Petteri Kotovaara set quick time with a lap of 20.284. Ciskowski leads Hannagan in the standings by 88 points.

THURSDAY, JANUARY 30TH

Kendal Tucker bounced back from Tuesday’s runner-up finish and secured the win in DOB’s top-tier league at Limaland Motorsports Park.

The 50-lap event went non-stop, which makes it 125 straight laps of green-flag competition in main event action.

Billy Rowlee jumped out front with Tucker in tow. The top two drivers exchanged slide jobs multiple times, with Rowlee maintaining the top spot.

Tucker made his move in lapped traffic on Lap 26, blasting by Rowlee. Once out front, Tucker had to avoid a slowing lapped car in the closing stages of the race to make his way to Victory Lane and claim his first top-tier win of the season.

James Edens set quick time on the night and finished third. Kyle Stoltz, and Mike Keegan completed the top five. Rowlee and Tucker were heat winners. Anthony Jobe leads Keegan by 16 points in the standings.
