Safety came to the forefront in Sprint Car racing last week after an incident occurred at Atomic Speedway and California’s Stockton Dirt Track.
A series of incidents forced the cancellation of the Ohio Speedweek event at Atomic before heat races were complete. Across the country, track conditions came into question with many drivers in the pit area.
On this week’s edition of the SprintCarUnlimited.com Podcast, we took a look at safety in the sport. Dominic Scelzi and Kevin Swindell joined the program to discuss the topic in-depth from a driver and owner’s perspective.
Freddie Rahmer also joined the show to discuss the upcoming Pennsylvania Speedweek series. Hosts Jeremy Elliott and Ryan Hand also broke down the nine-race series and hit on a variety of topics.
The podcast will return next week. We are running a special promotion for June in which a year subscription to SprintCarUnlimited.com is $45. It includes all content, the weekly Pick 3 Contest, and much more. A six-month subscription is $35 with one month costing $8. Members have access to the podcast and all content on the website.
