LEBANON, Pa.: When Brian Leppo and the family of Steve Smith came up with the concept of The Final Steve Smith Sr. Tribute, the event, which will be held at Lincoln Speedway, is what they envisioned.
Sponsors stepping up and graciously participating in the event. Lincoln Speedway doing their part to pull off the event. And then you have the fans … making this an event they will remember for years to come.
It’s not just about the competition and a $50,019 winner’s share around the racy Abbottstown oval. Leppo and the Smith family wanted to give back to the fans with giveaways and chances to win prizes commemorating the Sprint Car legend.
Mission accomplished. Thanks to the many sponsors involved with this event and Lincoln Speedway, fans will have an opportunity to leave the track with memorabilia and keepsakes to honor Smith. There will also be T-Shirts sold at a reasonable price to celebrate The Final Steve Smith Sr. Tribute.
“I couldn’t be happier with the way this has come together,” Leppo said. “Everything the sponsors and Lincoln Speedway have done to make this possible … it’s incredible. The response from fans to everything this event has become has been remarkable.
“When we put this together, we wanted to honor Steve and also build the best event we could for the fans. If not for them, this sport wouldn’t exist, and this event is a way to give back to them.”
Lincoln Speedway will be giving away 119 general admission tickets, as well as one free pit pass to each competing car. Along with free tickets, the speedway will be handing out 119 hot dogs in the grandstands, infield, and pit area.
Thanks to R&R Enterprises, a special T-Shirt design was developed to commemorate this event. All shirts can be purchased for the affordable price of $19, so get there early before they all sell out.
It should also be noted that 119 T-Shirts will be shot into the grandstands compliments of FillPools.com. Also at the T-Shirt table, custom Bandit Cups will be given out, courtesy of Brewer Home Improvements.

Multiple 50-50 drawings will take place for extra fan giveaways. A custom Steve Smith diecast, family four-pack of tickets, and Steve Smith Tribute T-Shirt will be raffled off a second 50-50 ticket drawing, courtesy of B&E Custom Sprints.
There will also be two custom Steve Smith giveaway baskets handed out to a third and fourth 50-50 ticket drawing, compliments of SHO Logistics.
