It’s been another good couple of days for FK Rod Ends and its stable of drivers … and the weekend is only half over.
On Thursday, Greg Hodnett landed his second 410 Sprint Car win of the season at Susquehanna Speedway. Freddie Rahmer backed it up by continuing his Williams Grove dominance, and that of FK, on Friday with his second win of the season at the speedway.
The two have combined for six wins overall this season. Throw in Lance Dewease’s four tallies — he was also second to Rahmer Friday — and FK Rod Ends has 10 victories between three teams.
But success is no stranger to FK Rod Ends or the many drivers around the country who use their product. Tim Shaffer added another win at Attica Raceway Park Friday night, as did Kasey Kahne Racing ace Brad Sweet, who walked away from the field in a high-profile event at Knoxville Raceway.
The World of Outlaws series is littered with top-flight teams who have put their faith in the FK brand. David Gravel has been the company’s biggest winner this season. He has eight tallies, one less than WoO point leader Donny Schatz for most on the circuit.
A World of Outlaws regular running FK Rod Ends has sat in Victory Lane 17 times this season with the series. The company is also associated with drivers positioned second through sixth in the point standings.
“They have helped my dad out for years,” Freddie Rahmer said. “They are nice people to deal with, and they have a really good product.
“They really support you. I think 90 percent of the guys out there run their product. FK has a very good reputation.”
