Freddie Rahmer is the son of legendary Sprint Car driver Fred Rahmer, but he is quickly becoming his own man in the cockpit.

Whether it’s during the week or at the track, Rahmer, 21, is a workaholic. That paid off a week ago in a signature march from ninth to Victory Lane at Williams Grove Speedway.

Rahmer joined this week’s edition of the SprintCarUnlimited.com Podcast. The Salfordville ace discussed his work ethic, working with Stevie Smith and his father, and even talked about formats and racetrack prep in Segment 4 of the program.

Midwest Sprint Car star Brian Brown also joined the show in Segment 2. The Missouri driver spent some time in the hospital last week and still managed a spot in Victory Lane during the Knoxville Raceway opener.

Brown also discussed car counts and the state of Midwest racing with the scaling back of shows at Badlands Motor Speedway.

Hosts Jeremy Elliott and John Westbrook also hit on a variety of topics, including different formats in Segment 3, racing at Williams Grove, and more.

The SprintCarUnlimited.com Podcast will appear every Monday. Subscriptions to SprintCarUnlimited.com are $50 for a year, $35 for six months and $8 monthly. Members have access to the podcast and all content on the website.
