Inside Line Promotions – HOUSTON, Texas (June 8, 2020) – Scott Bogucki will make his 410ci winged sprint car season debut this week during a handful of races with the Ollie’s Bargain Outlet All Star Circuit of Champions presented by Mobil 1.
The SawBlade.com sponsored driver is slated to compete on Wednesday at Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas; on Thursday at Southern Oklahoma Speedway in Ardmore, Okla.; on Friday at Monarch Motor Speedway in Wichita Falls, Texas; on Saturday at LoneStar Speedway in Kilgore, Texas; and on Sunday at Chatham Speedway in Chatham, La., during the Cometic Gasket Thunder Through the Plains presented by Hercules Tires.
Devil’s Bowl Speedway is the only track on the list Bogucki has competed at during his career. He won a Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour race at the unique oval in 2018 and he placed 17th there last year during a World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series event.
“That track is tricky, but I think I’ve got a good grasp of racing it after being there a few times per year with ASCS,” he said. “I’ve been to Chatham Speedway as a spectator, but haven’t raced there.”
Bogucki, whose focus is on running the ASCS National Tour, noted that he doesn’t expect it to be a big adjustment racing 410 sprint car events this week.
“We went home (last offseason) and I hadn’t run a 410 since the Knoxville Nationals and I won a qualifying night of the Classic,” he said. “I seem to get the hang of it quickly. Before I came to the United States and started 360 racing the majority of my racing was 410 racing so I feel I can bounce back and forth.
“The goal this week is to not destroy anything and have some consistent runs. Some top fives would be excellent with the competition that is there.”
