VINCENTOWN, N.J. (May 2, 2022) – Justin Whittall and JW Motorsports are enjoying a consistent and competitive season thus far in 2022, and the team’s recent weekend results prove just the same, translating visits to Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway on Friday and Saturday, April 29-30, into back-to-back top-ten appearances highlighted with a seventh-place score at The Grove on Friday. Whittall started the main event in the exact same position, actually slipping back as far as 11th before recovering for the top-ten.
One night later at the Port Royal “Speed Palace,” Whittall finished ninth during main event action, forced to recover from the tail after contact with the outside retaining wall forced the Vincentown, New Jersey, native to the work area. Whittall lined up 14th on the grid before his mishap.
“We’re plugging away right now and things feel good. I’m excited to have some positive momentum on our side, especially with the World of Outlaws coming to town in just over a week. We have some goals in mind and I think we are more than capable of achieving them,” Whittall said, driver of the JW Motorsports, JG Kronenberger Fine Jewelry, Mid-Atlantic Transport, Pioneer Auto Body, Worldwide Bearings, Enterprise, No. 67 sprint car. “I can’t say enough about this team right now. We are having a lot of fun and it’s really beginning to show. We’re going to keep working hard and great things are sure to happen.”
