Wicked Cushion, LLC announced today that it has partnered with CJB Motorsports driver Brent Marks to form Brent Marks Racing Sim Team with Wicked Cushion as Wicked Cushion continues to grow its eSports platform with another accomplished driver. Last year, team were created with the support of Kraig Kinser, Kasey Kahne and Dave Blaney.
This “cross-aspect” form of motorsports marketing is an exciting new way to engage with customers across a wide range of demographics. During these uncertain times where there is no definitive timeframe for returning to the race tracks, eSports is where sponsors are able to engage with their customers. One of the goals from the very beginning of creating these teams was to provide another level of exposure for brand partners that support drivers like Brent Marks and in today’s environment, it has become more important. Marks is the 2019 National Open Winner and has won over 350 races in his career between go karts, micro sprints and 410 sprint cars. Brent has now bought his own “sim-rig” and is beginning to compete on iRacing.com
iRacing.com is the world’s premier motorsports racing simulation and puts you in the driver’s seat by allowing members to experience today’s newest form of motorsport: virtual racing. iRacing.com provides some of the most professionally produced and highly competitive racing in all of eSports.
Many of these races can be watched live on broadcast platforms such as YouTube, Facebook Live and Twitch. Many of the Wicked Cushion events can be found on broadcast services such as the Dirt Racing Network and Ultimate Dirt TV. Most recently iRacing.com races have been broadcasted live on Fox Sports. Wicked Cushion also recently produced the first of its kind “Line” in person dirt track simulation race. The race was held in York, PA during the Racing Xtravaganza Motorsports event and was made possible with Wicked Cushions partner, Timsims Dirt Track Simulators. We can only hope that we can resume these in person events as soon as possible.
The Brent Marks Racing Sim Team with Wicked Cushion is made up of a mix of five up-and-coming and veteran dirt track simulator drivers on the iRacing platform. Brent Marks Racing Sim Team is pleased to welcome Jeremy Zarfos of York, Pennsylvania, Michael Sheridan of Farmington, Minnesota, Chance Ciskowski of Kenosha, Wisconsin, Kevin Click of Ontario, Ohio and Mark Broderick of King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
Each driver will race a car to with branding from the various sponsors currently supporting the CJB Motorsports #5 race car. This provides each sponsor an excellent opportunity to reach a wider audience as well as a distinct demographic. Wicked Cushion eSports will also provide marketing support for the team as well as the sponsors related to Brent Marks Racing. You will find the majority of Brent’s long time sponsors represented by the Sim Team. Look out for cars with M&M Painting and Construction, BAPS Auto Paints and Supply, Fredericksburg Eagle Hotel, Nyce Crete and Concrete, Alkaline 88 Water and Wicked Cushion”.
“We are very excited about partnering with Bent Marks Racing to help bring competitive sim racing to a higher level. Each of these drivers are stand-up gentleman and we look forward to working with them and watching their successes.” said Matthew Henninger, founder of Wicked Cushion.
“We’re really excited to be partnered with Wicked Cushion on this Sim Team project,” said Brent Marks, owner of Brent Marks Racing. “Sim racing and eSports have become so popular in the last few years that one of our sponsors actually requested that we create an eSports team. With that being the case it just made sense to put together a team on a platform such as Wicked Cushion to begin our participation”.
