FOREST, Ohio (June 27, 2022) – Certainly no strangers to Missouri soil, Ray Marshall Motorsports and Matt Westfall put together another successful campaign in the Show-Me State over the recent weekend, this time scoring top-five finishes against the Xtreme Outlaw Sprint Car Series at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri, on Friday and Saturday, June 24-25. In fact, Westfall finished fourth in each of the St. Louis Firecracker Faceoff programs highlighted with an eight spot jump from 12th in Friday’s $5,000-to-win preliminary.

The following evening, Westfall, pilot of Ray Marshall’s Buckeye Machine Fabricators, Inc./Hempy Water/DPI Ink/No. 33M “Bumblebee Express,” climbed from sixth to finish fourth, utilizing the very bottom of the speedway to make his progress in the $6,000-to-win finale. The Pleasant Hill, Ohio, native drove by Dalton Stevens with 25-to-go to secure his spot.

As noted, RMM and Westfall have been successful in Missouri this season, highlighted with a runner-up appearance at Lake Ozark Speedway on June 11.

“We enjoy racing out there, that’s for sure,” Westfall noted, the 2021 BOSS Series champion and a recent BOSS winner at I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, Michigan. “We can’t thank Ray Marshall enough for giving us the opportunity to head out there and race.
